After completing his degree at Canterbury College of Art, Colin began his professional career as an illustrator.
The next twenty years saw Colin work for many illustrious design and advertising agencies throughout Europe producing distinctive artwork for companies including Audi, Hasbro, The Guinness Book of Records and Corgi Toys. Since taking the decision to leave the advertising world behind Colin has revelled in his new found creative freedom pursuing a career as a professional artist in his own right a role which he combines with his work as an art tutor.
Colin specialises in 'Street Scenes' with his colourful, impressionistic style allowing him to bring the diverse sounds, smells and atmospheres of places the World over into the homes of his collectors. Colin and his young family still travel extensively always on the lookout for that inspiration to take back to his Somerset studio and bring to life in his own distinctive style. Colin's original artwork is painted using the medium of acrylic and his images hang within private and corporate collections throughout Europe.
